LASO Transportes is preparing to launch a new, logistically demanding operation in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, handling the transport of three wind turbine towers bound for Paul da Serra, in the municipality of Calheta.
The company, which specializes in conventional and special transport involving complex logistics, will be responsible for transporting the components that will help boost the region’s energy production capacity as part of the Calheta hydroelectric power plant project.
The operation will take place over the coming weeks, with completion expected between late August and early September, requiring rigorous logistical and operational planning.
Due to the nature of the components being transported and the specific characteristics of the route, specialized equipment and experienced technical teams will be mobilized to ensure that all phases of the operation proceed safely and efficiently.
The execution of this project represents yet another challenge for LASO, which continues to put its experience and technical expertise to work on highly complex operations, contributing to the development of strategic infrastructure in the renewable energy sector.
